Halco’s UL924 Listed Emergency T8 Type B (Ballast Bypass) lamp operates as a dual-function lamp. In normal mode, each size (2’ and 4’ lengths) offers 5 field-selectable color temperatures (3000K/3500K/4000K/5000K/6500K) and 3 power/lumen levels. This lamp can also be dimmed in normal mode. In emergency mode, the T8 lamp with integral lithium class battery produces 500 lumens. It’s true UL 924 listing ensures the lamp provides emergency illumination for at least 90 minutes. Halco’s Emergency T8 Type B lamp provides the simplest, and most hassle-free way to meet Life Safety lighting standards without the expense of a separate emergency fixture.
